I've been to Lost River Caverns once and it was both enjoyable and informative. A guide helps you through the caverns, and with the constant sound of water dripping in the background, you lose yourself in time. It might be a bit claustrophobic at certain junctures, but you do keep moving along. There is also a huge giftshop attached.
